Tips On How We Can Help Endangered Animals in Ontario

Have you ever come across someone who needed funding for helping endangered animals in a public place? at a mall? or even a busy street? I know I have, and sometimes I felt discouraged for not being able to give enough money to save these animals at risk. Well here are some tips on how we can help endangered animals:

1) Learn about endangered species in your area
Teach your friends and family about the wonderful wildlife that live near you. The first step on protecting endangered species is learning about how fascinating and important they are (10 Easy Things You Can Do to Save Endangered Species, 2015).

2) Make your home wildlife friendly

Protect garbage in shelters or cans with locking lids, feed pets indoors and lock pet doors at night to avoid drawing wild animals into your home. Reduce the use of water in your home and garden so that animals that live in or near water can have a better chance of surviving (10 Easy Things You Can Do to Save Endangered Species, 2015).

3) Slow down when driving
Many animals live in developed areas and this means they must discover a landscape full of human hazards (10 Easy Things You Can Do to Save Endangered Species, 2015). One of the biggest difficulties to wildlife living in developed areas are the roads.
